Bowser's Puzzle Dungeon is Bowser's first official course in Super Mario Maker, released on November 4, 2015. It is set in the castle theme and in the Super Mario World game style.

Layout[edit]

The level begins with a pattern of Cannons and Burners. Mario must jump on the Cannonballs to reach a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom, then enter a Warp Door and spin jump across some Rotating Blocks while avoiding Grinders. Mario must then hit a ? Block to activate a P Switch and move from Bill Blaster to Bill Blaster, then ride a Para-Beetle to reach the right side. After evading some Spike Tops, Mario must fire two Bob-ombs in two specific spots to progress. Afterwards, Mario must get Yoshi, and Yoshi must eat and spit out enough trampolines to get a Buzzy Shell to hit a ? Block and produce a Beanstalk. Yoshi must then move some of the trampolines over to the left of the segment to get a P Switch, then travel right, hit the P Switch, then climb up the Beanstalk to get a Checkpoint Flag and continue into a warp pipe. Afterwards, Mario must navigate a series of synchronized Fire Bars to reach the next warp pipe. Mario must then ride some Para-Beetles to the next warp pipe. Mario can then ride a blue Lava Lift to hit a Flying ? Block on a track, then climb another Beanstalk, navigate a series of Flimsy Lifts, then stack up some POW Blocks in the next segment to hit some Hidden Blocks for which to traverse later. Next, Mario must drop down to another area and carry a Buzzy Beetle Helmet to kick and flip two Rotating Blocks blocking the way to another Checkpoint Flag. Mario must then enter a warp pipe soon after. After taking out a big Muncher, Mario must spin jump on some Spinies, then remove some POW Blocks to reveal a hidden Warp Door to enter a warp pipe, in turn to take on Bowser. Once Bowser is defeated, Mario can hit the axe and clear the level.
