Stage 7-9 is the ninth level of the Iceberg in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. The level revolves around using the Icicles.

Layout[edit]

The level begins with Mario on an icy floor near the door. There is a Tododesu, which charges at him once in sight, but he can avoid it by jumping over it. There is a ladder leading up to a platform, but it serves no purpose whatsoever. Mario must go right over to where a switch, the elevators, and an icicle are. He must pull the switch to make the elevators go up, then he must get the icicle to fall then ride it down to bottom. He must jump over the spikes over to the next platform. Mario must then watch out for the Tododesu and climb up the ladder, then get close enough and wait for the icicles to fall so he jump across them over the spikes. Mario must then activate the ladder block and connect it to the platform with a switch, and then he must climb the ladder. Mario must then go over to the switch and pull it, which activates the bridge over to the other platform with a ladder and opens the door. Mario then must make his way back to where the Tododesu is and now watch out for two walruses while he heads left to the key. Once he grabs the key, he can take out the two Tododesu, and he must go back to the elevators and ride them up to the top. He can take out the last Tododesu or ignore it, but all he has to do is go over to the door to complete the level.
