Template:Character-infobox Andross is the main antagonist of the Star Fox series. Formerly a scientist for the Cornerian Defense Force, he was banished to the planet Venom after his experiments had gone wrong and amassed his own army to invade and conquer the Lylat System.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Andross appears as an Assist Trophy, taking his appearance from the original Star Fox. He hovers in the background and attacks by firing polygons from his mouth that damage any opponents in their path. After a short time has passed, he will disappear.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Andross is given two trophies: one using his original appearance and the other using his appearance in Star Fox 64. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, one trophy again uses his original appears, whereas the other is based on his final form in Star Fox 64.

Star Fox's archenemy. Whether it's a metallic manifestation of Andross or just a hologram is unknown, but from its outward appearance, it's safe to assume that it's not the fiend's true form. Andross occasionally sucks matter in and then violently exhales, sending out a cloud of metal tiles. Its eyes are its weak points. |

This incarnation of Andross was so big as to be ridiculous, but it at least appeared to be a living being. Andross was once a brilliant scientist, but was banished from the galaxy for his dangerous experiments. From the planet Venom, he readied his troops and directed his sword of vengeance toward the Lylat System. |
