A 3 UP mushroom is a blue mushroom found in Mario vs. Donkey Kong and one of the items that can be earned by playing one of the two bonus minigames present in the game at the end of a level, only after the player has collected all three presents. Obtaining one of these mushrooms grants the player three extra lives.
