World 3-3 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)
Template:Levelbox World 3-3 is the third level of the third world in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This level is an icy cave level with three parts. There are floating platforms, falling Icicles, and giant falling icicles that Mario can walk on, and some Goombas and Ice Bros.
Layout
The level starts out on the snowy terrain, with an item box and an Ice Bro up ahead. There is a Warp Pipe near the Ice Bro. This will bring them to an icy underground area with water, finding several falling icicles and moving ice blocks throughout the first of 3 underground areas. After the Goomba pipe and the first Star Coin, a Roulette Block will show up, followed by an Ice Bro and a few Goombas before the warp pipe to the Midway Flag. Then, Mario and co. will come across giant falling icicles, along with more smaller falling icicles. After some distance, a giant falling icicle appears, with another Warp Pipe near it. Going through it brings all players to the final underground area. A barrel is near the warp pipe exit, and is almost necessary for clearing this section filled with falling icicles. After another Ice Bro, yet another warp pipe appears. This brings Mario and co. to another snowy terrain, with a small hill and the Goal Pole. The Penguin Suit and Super Mushroom are the most common items found in this level.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is hidden under the ice platform with the first lone ? Block. Mario and co. must swim to it or get on the ice platform and fall to it from there.
- Star Coin 2: In the second area, the second Star Coin floats over an Ice Bro, two ? Blocks, a row of Brick Blocks, and four Goombas. Mario and co. should avoid the Ice Bro and jump to the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3: In the third area, Mario and co. must pick up the Barrel and carry it all the way to the end of the area. Once there, Mario and co. should avoid the nearby Ice Bro and throw the barrel at the third Star Coin which is floating over an abyss on the bottom-right.
