The entirety of the gigantic Crazee Dayzee, or as is previously referred to as the Moon, is directly explored as the sixth and final level of Chapter 10: Moon in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and is the final main habitat explored in the game. The level initially takes place directly on the moon's surface, where Bowser Jr. and Kamek are captured by vines and are pulled underground. Yoshi is joined once again by the Bewilder Bird much like in its previous habitat, and must dig underground to chase after the duo. Afterwards, he must face off against the moon's core in a final boss battle, defeating it quickly before the "moon" eventually falls to the planet's surface below.

Overview

The level begins with Yoshi spawning directly on top of the moon's surface. He spots Kamek and Bowser Jr. trying to find a way home, before they also experience the shaking of the moon and find themselves contending with a giant vine blocking the way. Eventually, vine growths catch the duo off-guard and are pulled underground. The Blorp that Bowser Jr. discarded is revealed to be a juvenile Bewilder Bird, allying with Yoshi much like its appearance in its previous habitat.

Yoshi must have Bewilder Bird transform into a creature that can dig underground - either Hauger or Underbit can do. However, Hauger is required to break through the rocky layer and continue on into the underground area. Yoshi must try to explore the maze of underground tunnels and dig all the way down, while also trying to contend with the creature's vine growths that try to chase after him. If he gets caught by one of the vines, the Bewilder Bird is forcefully transformed back to normal and Yoshi is eventually ejected out of the underground area, requiring him to dig down again. Yoshi can also gain tokens from destroying small rocks and pebble bugs that reside underground, and he can also dig around for Smiley Flowers before proceeding downward.

After digging down into the deepest part of the level, Yoshi finds himself in a veiny underground arena, where he finds Bowser Jr. and Kamek in vines, about to be consumed by the moon's core. However, it is too late to save them as the core manages to absorb the duo. That done, the moon begins to dislodge from its stalk and is sent on a collision course towards the planet below.

Yoshi must defeat the moon's core as quickly as possible within a ten-minute timer. Many of the creatures that Bewilder Bird can transform into can deal damage to the core and progress in the boss fight. Initially, the core doesn't appear to attack at first, but after taking damage, it begins to send out various attacks that deliberately try to stall or slow down Yoshi, which can result in time loss. Said attacks include creating a fleshy vine orb to crush Yoshi into the ground, surrounding itself with sleeping gas, sending massive moving vine walls to push Yoshi back, summoning circular swarms of eyeless orange-and-green Bunchabees to distract Yoshi, and filling the arena with water then pushing Yoshi towards the other side with a strong current. After defeating the core, it surrounds itself with a bright light and then explodes, freeing Bowser Jr. and Kamek. However, if the boss is not defeated in time, a cutscene will show where the moon begins to crash down into the planet below, forcing Yoshi to restart the fight.

After the core is destroyed, the moon becomes very unstable with the underground arena appearing to glow, and is about to shake and explode. Just in time, a discovery portal was created in response to Yoshi defeating the moon's core, allowing him, Bowser Jr. and Kamek to escape Mr. E's pages in time before the moon explodes. The juvenile Bewilder Bird also reunites with its adult counterpart, fleeing from the moon as well. This triggers the game's final cinematic and rolls the credits for the second time. After completion of this habitat, Mr. E reveals that the moon was actually the face of a massive Crazee Dayzee that grew for several years, and also renames the habitat to match with its original counterpart's name.

Crazee Dayzee (moon)	Is the main focus of the habitat. While Yoshi and Bewilder Bird are digging underground, it summons vine growths that try to chase after them and force them out. The moon's core is directly fought as the final boss.
Bewilder Bird	Accompanies Yoshi in this habitat, which can transform into various creatures encountered up to this point to help dig deep into the underground arena and battle the Moon's core directly.
Pebble bug	A few groups of circling pebble bugs can be found throughout the underground maze, which can be defeated for tokens.
Bunchabee (summoned)	During the second phase of the core's boss fight, it can summon a ring of Bunchabees, with many of them descending down on Yoshi to form a circular swarm and attack him. They appear to have a unique eyeless orange-and-green coloration as part of their design, and Yoshi can eat them to gain eggs. These Bunchabees are not detected with their names via the Name Plate exploration tools, but it reuses the same icon as a Bunchabee when using the "Log" variation of the Egg Counter.

Smiley Flowers

Yoshi can also jump off a transformed Croakaoke to reach this flower. A well-aimed launch from Hauger can also help Yoshi reach this flower as well. A transformed Blorp can also help Yoshi reach this flower, as its flap mutation enhances his Flutter Jump to let him fly in the moon's gravity.
