This article needs Mario & Luigi improvement. Specifically:
- Rewrite to remove further leftovers from the Papercraft article.
- Due to being sourced from the aforementioned article, the page does not go into much detail on the Papercraft's role, or how it functions in combat. This should be fixed.
Papercraft Mario is the first Papercraft to be built in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam It is a giant-sized papercraft in the likeness of Mario created by Toadette, and piloted by Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario. Unlike the other Papercrafts used in the game, Papercraft Mario has no additional abilities.
It is first seen as a small-scale model held by Toadette in the beginning of the game, but after she studies the Papercraft Goomba that the Goombas dropped at the entrance to Doop Doop Dunes, she recreates it as a giant-sized construct with the help of Paper Toads from Sunbeam Plains. It is used in the battle against the two types of Papercraft Goombas and Papercraft Megacrinkle Goomba. Its charge music is "Mario Craft Rhythm".
Later in the game, Papercraft Mario is captured alongside the other previously used Papercrafts by Bowser and his paper counterpart, who proceed to destroy them using their own papercraft. It is subsequently replaced by a stronger version of it, which is based on Fire Mario. The original is later rebuilt and used in the parade at the end of the game
Papercraft Mario also makes a small appearance in Super Mario Maker as part of the "Mario Trio" Mystery Mushroom costume when the player presses
