Faiachū are bipedal Fireball enemies in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong.

History[edit]

Donkey Kong (Game Boy)[edit]

Faiachū first appear in the Big-City in Stage 1-5. They circle around the area, and also walk up walls and ceilings, similarly to the Rappies, but they do hurt Mario on contact. Faiachū also cannot be taken out by Trash Cans or a key. In the Iceberg world, Faiachū melt Ice Blocks as soon as they walk over them, clearing the path for Mario, allowing him to reach other areas of the level. A fast one appears in Stage 7-11.

Super Mario Kodansha manga[edit]

In the Super Mario Kodansha manga, a single Faiachū appears in the bonus chapter of Super Mario: Donkey Kong 1, as one of the animal attractions in Peach Zoo.

A hard worker who walks around without rest

A drum-can-fire with legs. It walks around wall by wall without rest. In Iceberg, they melt the ice that is in the way and has become a wall, so use them well.
