Peach Zoo is a zoo in Big-City run by Princess Peach in the extra chapter of Super Mario: Donkey Kong 1 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga, instead of the circus from the main story arc.
Peach Zoo was not doing so well, until Donkey Kong became one of the animals exposed and Pauline his caretaker. From that, visitors come to see the mighty Kong and the beautiful Pauline. Mario also seems to work in the zoo, but it is unknown in which role, as he spends his time fawning at Pauline. Luigi is the technician behind the construction of a "Mecha Kong" that was originally planned for a Kong vs. Robot show that later cancelled following Pauline's hiring. Bowser, assisted by Larry, also struck by Pauline, plans to kidnap and marry her, so he sends his son to plant a control ring on Donkey Kong. After drugging the ape, the Koopaling puts the control ring on him and Donkey Kong grows bigger, grabs Pauline (who faints) and Larry, and makes his way towards the Construction Site where Bowser awaits. Peach then orders Luigi to quickly finish the robot, modelling after Mario, so that he can use it to stop the beast from damaging the city. In three sole minutes, Luigi is able to complete the Mecha Hammer Mario. Peach's plan still causes the city to be damaged, but she gets angry when she discovers that Bowser dared to replace her with Pauline as his kidnapped victim, and teaches him a lesson, caging him in her zoo. With Donkey Kong calmed down, the zoo is repaired, and Mario, Luigi, and Larry also join Donkey Kong in his cage to pay for the damages, much to their joy as they get to be fed by Pauline.
Beside Donkey Kong, there are various creatures from Donkey Kong in one enclosure: a Bowbow, a Dorakyū, a Dotty, a Faiachū, a Jumper, a Miira, a Monchee, a Rappy, two Sairesu, a Skeleton, a Sniper, a Snapjaw, and a Sukōpī (erroneously drawn like a hermit crab).

Note[edit]
- Like the circus might be a nod to Donkey Kong Circus, the zoo might be a nod to the Video Land Amusement Park from the Donkey Kong activity books. Both have Pauline being the reason behind the number of visitors and feeding the zoo animals, and Mario spends time fawning over her.
