The Momo-hime Dai Circus is a circus in Big-City run by Princess Peach, under the alias "Momo-hime" (which is a Japanese translation of her actual name, which is normally written in English), during the Donkey Kong arc from the Super Mario Kodansha manga. It might be a potential nod to Donkey Kong Circus.
In Super Mario: Donkey Kong 1, looking for fame and fortune in Big City, Mario and Luigi come across Momo-hime's circus. The main event advertised on the billboards is the trapeze show "Beauty and the Beast", starring Pauline and Donkey Kong Jr., a Kong taken by Peach on her vacation at Donkey Kong Island. Right before the show, Junior gets hit by nostalgia for his home, so Mario and Luigi, who failed to get hired as acrobats, offers to disguise as him and take his place. Despite their clumsiness, they manage to successfully execute the trapeze show, but their disguse rips, exposing the trick. As the audience boos, the gigantic Donkey Kong Snr. appears and first he accidentally grabs Pauline, then takes his son, who suggests bringing Pauline with them back to Donkey Kong Island to make her his new mom. Mario and Luigi, later followed by Momo-hime and her assistant Toad, begin their journey to save Pauline.
Other stars seen in the first volumes are a clown Karakara, an equilibrist Bear, Yoshi jumping rings of fire, and Daisy on a unicycle.
In Super Mario: Donkey Kong 2, Pauline ultimately decides to remain on Donkey Kong Island to take care of the Kongs, so the circus continues without their main attractions, managing to continue with an animal show with the Animal Friends (Rambi, Enguarde, Expresso, and Winky) and Mario and Luigi as impoved acrobats. The circus is then attacked by Bowser, the landlord, demanding from Momo-hime the rent she barely can pay, due to her spending habits. Worried they will not meet the required sum, Peach asks Mario, Luigi, and Toad to go recruit Pauline and Junior back, but they ultimately fail the task. To protect the Animal Friends, Junior adopts them, and the circus ends up closing.
