Bagbagtchi (also known as Bagubagutchi) is a Tama-Pet that belongs to Mametchi's family, the Mame Family, in the Tamagotchi franchise. He is a dog-like Tamagotchi with a bag-like head, and is very intelligent and loyal. He is able to carry Mametchi's belongings and assist him with homework.
Bagbagtchi appears as one of Mametchi's five special items in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. He functions similarly to the Mouse Cracker—he is dropped behind the player's kart and proceeds to run in circles on the track. If a racer touches Bagbagtchi, they will slow down, and Bagbagtchi will steal their held item. Bagbagtchi does not disappear after being run into, and can therefore hit multiple drivers over the course of a race.

Portmanteau of Tamagotchi and バッグ (baggu, "bag"). Bagu may also come from the sound of a dog barking, as suggested by the name used in Tamagotchi: The Movie, "Barkbarktchi". | [1] |
