Opponents that pass through a space containing the orb gets shocked by Zaps for five coins, and loses another five coins for every remaining space. In Mario Party 7, it is used again for the same purpose, but opponents lose only three coins per space, similar to landing on Red Spaces numerous times. In both games, if a player passes by another Zap Orb while one is already in effect, the Zap Orbs will stack up.
