A Pucka Jr.[1] is a smaller relative of Fangfish that appears only in Donkey Kong Land. They appear primarily in Kremlantis, but also make appearances in bonus rooms in other worlds. They have an appearance similar to a Moorish idol. They usually appear in pairs and simply travel back and forth horizontally and are not actively aggressive, but often appear in narrow passageways making them difficult to get past.

Trivia
- The name "Pucka Jr." from a Donkey Kong Land preview in Nintendo Power, which also featured a fish known as Pucka. Artwork and a screenshot of Fangfish was used next to the "Pucka Jr." label, while artwork similar to this fish was associated with Pucka, but this is likely a mistake since Fangfish is the larger of the two.
