Squashmoshies are enemies in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are pink worms with purple stripes that live in Twistee Island's forest.
When Mario and Luigi search for Spiralia in the forest, they find her stuck on high ground, screaming in fear at several Squashmoshies. After she initially mistakes the Mario Brothers for red and green bugs, the brothers must sneak up from behind her and carry her back while avoiding the Squashmoshies. Though they cannot be jumped on, hammered, or otherwise battled, if the brother carrying Spiralia runs into a Squashmoshy, she will scream and run off, and they will have to restart from a point below the ledge she was standing on. Once she is back at the shop, Spiralia rewards the brothers with her MaxGlam Wax.
Later, in the side quest Spiralia's New Creation, Spiralia creates a Puzzle Panel challenge; however, the game area becomes overrun by Squashmoshies. Despite Spiralia's doubts, the brothers touch the panels in the order of one through eight, and the Squashmoshies flee.
