This course has many similarities and differences with World 2-3 from Super Mario Bros. 3. At the start of the course, the only option the player has is to enter a Warp Pipe to the sub area. To prevent players from going back into the pipe, it is one block above the ground. This is followed by a pyramid of 3 high 4 wide Semi-Solid Platforms forming a pyramid, 4 on each side, with the top over the bottom of the next row and the center piece missing. A chained Chain Chomp resides in this hole with a Red Koopa Troopa above it. Above the topmost Semi-Solid on both sides of it lies a Brick Block underneath a ? Block with the right of them containing a Super Leaf. After a pit with Hard Blocks above it, another pyramid without a center appears, however, it varies on the Semi-Solid Platforms sizes and methods used, but can be safely assumed to be five Semi-Solid Platforms high following the previous method. This pyramid has two chained Chain Chomps, two Goombas, and a Green Koopa Troopa. It also has a Super Star in the left Question Mark Block but no Super Leaf in the right. After a second gap is another pyramid with three, four, and five 4-by-4 Semi-Solid Platforms from top to bottom respectively. Three Big Koopa Troopas are on the lowest Semi-Solid Platforms, while a chained Big Chain Chomp in the middle and three Goombas on the top. Above the middle is a bridge which can be used to get to two Question Blocks containing a Super Mushroom on a Super Leaf in one and lots of coins in the other. After a third pit, the four Goombas appear. Above them are Brick Blocks, and only one of them contains something which is a Super Mushroom on a Super Leaf. After the Goombas, a six high Brick Block pyramid appears with a Green Koopa Troopa at the peak. At the bottom middle of the pyramid is actually a Coin Block and on the right side 1 brick high is a 1-Up Mushroom. There are hidden blocks that lead to many coins and brick blocks one of them on the left side contains a P-Switch. After the Brick Block pyramid are three Goombas with four Brick Blocks above them. After this, the ending pyramid from the original, though Red Koopa Troopas now come out of a pipe and replace on the old green one. There is a 1-Up Mushroom in one of the Brick Block instead of just coins. After taking the pipe back to the main area, it becomes impossible to go back because of Hidden Blocks blocking the pipe.
This course appears to be very loosely inspired by World 2-3 from Super Mario Bros. 3. The level begins with Mario simply entering a Warp Pipe to the sub area.

After a third pit, Mario encounters four Goombas. Brick Blocks appear suspended in the air just above them, with one of them containing either a Super Mushroom or a Super Leaf. There is then a pyramid constructed out of Brick Blocks with a lone green Koopa Troopa at the top. After this pyramid are three Goombas with more Brick Blocks above them.

Following this, a pyramid very similar to the one from Super Mario Bros. 3 appears, though red Koopa Troopas now spawn out of a pipe, replacing the original, individual green one. World 2-2 is the second level of World 2 of Super Mario Challenge from Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS. This is the first Super Mario Bros. 3 style course in the Super Mario Challenge.

Course layout[edit]

This course appears to be very loosely inspired by World 2-3 from Super Mario Bros. 3. The level begins with Mario simply entering a Warp Pipe to the sub area.

The sub area begins with a pyramid formed out of pink Ground Platforms with a red Koopa Troopa near the top and a chained Chain Chomp in the center. At the very top, there are also two Brick Blocks and two ? Blocks, one of which contains a Super Leaf. Following a gap is a slightly larger pyramid appearing alongside two Goombas, two chained Chain Chomps, and a green Koopa Troopa. Once more, there are two Brick Blocks and two ? Blocks at the top, one of which contains a Super Star.

After the next gap is a less taller pyramid with three green Big Koopa Troopas on the bottom level, a chained Big Chain Chomp on the middle level, and three Goombas on the top level. Above this pyramid are two adjacent ? Blocks. One of them contains either a Super Mushroom or a Super Leaf depending on Mario's current form, whereas the other contains multiple coins.

After a third pit, Mario encounters four Goombas. Brick Blocks appear suspended in the air just above them, with one of them containing either a Super Mushroom or a Super Leaf. There is then a pyramid constructed out of Brick Blocks with a lone green Koopa Troopa at the top. One of the blocks in the pyramid is in fact a Coin Block, whereas another contains a 1-Up Mushroom, and another one contains a P-Switch. After this pyramid are three Goombas with more Brick Blocks above them.

Following this, a pyramid very similar to the one from Super Mario Bros. 3 appears, though red Koopa Troopas now spawn out of a pipe, replacing the original, individual green one. There is also a 1-Up Mushroom inside one of the Brick Blocks instead of just coins. After Mario enters the pipe back to the main area, he must simply touch the Goal to complete the level.

Challenges[edit]

 • Goomba - Defeat at least 10 enemies using the tail and then reach the goal
 • Bowser - Defeat all Chain Chomps using the tail then reach the goal
