Dr. Eggman defeats the Fog Imposter, causing it to disappear, which confuses Orbot and Cubot, who ask Dr. Eggman to explain. Dr. Eggman tells them that the urn contains the Phantasmal Fog, which is rumoured to have been stolen from a ruin site around 300 years ago by the pirate {{wp|William Kidd}}, and later claimed by the British Museum. He believes that the urn must have been recently stolen without the true value of it being known, and that it is magically sealed to keep the fog in, though he was able to partially break the seal. He also explains that the Fog Imposter was formed by the urn, as it creates an imposter of whoever the person holding the urn thinks of, originally as a curse to deter looters. Orbot and Cubot ask if they can use the urn, though Dr. Eggman refuses, as the seal on the urn means that it currently cannot be used at will, though he plans on breaking it and using an army of imposters to rule the world. He explains that he will not be doing so until he has finished training for the Olympic Games, though after Orbot and Cubot claim he has not been training, he instead chases after them threatening to replace their voice chips as an exasperated Metal Sonic watches.

Plot

Dr. Eggman is inspecting the sealed Fog urn in his fog amplifying system, while Metal Sonic, Orbot and Cubot watch, and uses the machine to unseal the urn, causing it to produce Phantasmal Fog. Dr. Eggman believes it to be a success, though Metal Sonic notices that a Fog Imposter of Sonic has formed from the fog. The Fog Imposter challenges Dr. Eggman to an Olympic Event, and after telling Metal Sonic to stand down, he accepts the challenge.
