Template:Character-infobox The Giant Clam,[1] or Clambo,[2][3] is the second boss of Donkey Kong Land. It is fought in the boss level of Kremlantis, Seabed Showdown. Unlike most Clambos, which are sessile, the Giant Clam is perfectly capable of moving through the water. It attacks more like the Clambos from Donkey Kong Country than the ones in its own game, since it shoots pearls to attack.

The Giant Clam can attack Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong by moving around and spitting pearls at them. He has a simple attack pattern, however, as he shoots the pearls from the opposite corner that the Kongs are in. In order to harm the giant boss, the Kongs must trick it into shooting its pearls at a nearby diagonal, harmless Clambo in a corner, then quickly move out of the way before the pearl hits them. The pearls then bounce off this Clambo and smash into the Giant Clam. After each hit, the diagonal Clambo blinks out of existence before reappearing, typically in another corner. After being hit several times, the Giant Clam begins to move faster and shoot pearls at a quicker pace. Despite this, Giant Clam can be defeated after a few more hits. Like the other bosses, defeating it causes three Banana Bunches to fall from the top of the screen.
