Template:Articleabout Template:Racecourse Cheep Cheep Lagoon (known as Cheep Cheep Cape in Europe and Australia) is the third race track in the Mushroom Cup of Mario Kart 7. This course is the first in the game to include a race underwater.
Course layout
The course takes place at a lagoon. The track takes place mostly underwater, where the player can perform tricks and grab Item Boxes. They can get Coins and Item Boxes from the Clampies that are underwater. After the main underwater area, the player goes through a cave, which has another body of water to dive through. Players also can fly over it using the glider while they need to dodge stalactites.
Shortcuts
The player can drive on the flat rock on the right of the track as far as the Clampies zone. Also, with a speed-boosting item, racers can cut through the grass at the last turn.

Trivia
- When Lakitu starts the race, he is wearing a snorkel mask and his cloud is wearing goggles. He also does this with other courses where the drivers go underwater for most of the course, including Piranha Plant Slide, Wario Shipyard, Rosalina's Ice World, N64 Koopa Beach, GCN Daisy Cruiser, and Wii Koopa Cape.
- This course, along with Rock Rock Mountain and Shy Guy Bazaar, are playable in the demo versions of the game.
