World 6-3 is the third level in Ice Land from Super Mario Bros. 3.

Layout[edit]

This is a level made mostly from Ice Blocks. The level starts with two Jump Blocks and a lift. After this, there is a ? Block with a Super Leaf and a few rows of Ice Blocks. Then, there are a few Brick Blocks, one of them containing a Beanstalk which leads Mario to a secret area with a Tanooki Suit and coins. Next, there are a few more rows of Ice Blocks, a hidden 1-Up Mushroom (which appears fully white in the original), a lift, two Koopa Paratroopas, and the goal.

Notes[edit]

  • In the original version, the green on sprites are rendered as white, affecting the 1-Up Mushroom and the stem of the Fire Flower on the card. This trait is also present in World 6-10, and both are due to featuring white-colored beanstalks, as their graphics are on both the sprite and background layers simultaneously.
