Super Mario Bros. 3 levels

World 5-5 is the fifth normal level, and the seventh level overall in Sky Land from Super Mario Bros. 3.

Layout[edit]

Almost the entire level is made up of Donut Lifts. Mario starts on a Wood Block, with two Koopa Paratroopas and a Para-Goomba nearby. Afterwards, there are some more Wood Blocks, one of them with a power-up inside, some Brick Blocks blocking Warp Pipes, and some ? Blocks, one also containing a power-up. These are guarded by another Koopa Paratroopa and two Venus Fire Traps. Shortly after this, there are two rows of coins above and below a Donut Lift bridge, along with a Fire Chomp. There are also some Venus Fire Traps, as well as Wood Blocks and Brick Blocks, two containing power-ups. This is followed by a Para-Goomba and some more Koopa Paratroopas; after this, the player reaches the goal.

The bonus area

By entering the second Warp Pipe at the beginning of the level, the player can find a bonus area with some coins and a Tanooki Suit.

Collecting 28 coins in this stage will make a White Mushroom House with a P-Wing appear on the map.

Enemies[edit]

Of the six normal levels in the sky portion of Sky Land, this is the only one with no Lakitus.
