World 2 (Dr. Mario World)

Template:Worldbox World 2 is a desert world in Dr. Mario World. It introduces green viruses as part of the viruses mixed in its regular stages, replacing the yellow virus, and viruses encased in bubbles as hazards. The world also introduces obtaining Virus Coins from defeating viruses over the marked area as a method of completion. The second area introduces viruses in cages where activating Lock Blocks exposes them. When an area is cleared, Spikes and Pokeys appear.

Area 1

	Stage 41	Dr. Baby Peach Dr. Mario	This stage introduces Bubbles, which float toward the top of the screen and are immune to being destroyed when floating. The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses. This stage is shaped like a crown formed by normal viruses and viruses inside bubbles. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. Previously, viruses inside bubbles are arranged in columns in the top two rows and rows below that, while the normal viruses are formed by an upside-down "T" with an empty middle.
	Stage 42	Dr. Bowser Jr. Dr. Baby Mario	This stage has a bunch of bubbles at the bottom, with viruses between blocks above. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is increased from 35 to 36. Two viruses are added in the fourth row near the middle so that there are five viruses in a row. The Brick Blocks in the second row now contain hidden viruses.
	Stage 43	Dr. Bowser Jr. Dr. Mario	This stage has Shells at the top with bubbles below, to the right. Half-frozen exploders and Brick Blocks are also found. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is reduced from 38 to 33. The Empty Blocks in the first row except the first one are replaced with viruses inside bubbles. The second row now contains viruses inside bubbles (the shell is intact). The Empty Blocks in the third row are replaced with half-frozen Brick Blocks. Brick Blocks now occupy the other parts of the row. The fourth row now contains half-frozen exploders and half-frozen Brick Blocks (the shell is intact). The formation five rows below row #4 is changed around so that it occupies three rows that contain twelve viruses inside bubbles and five Brick Blocks (previous amounts were fourteen and six respectively).
	Stage 44	Dr. Diddy Kong Dr. Ludwig	A diagonally-oriented stage, with three lines of viruses. The viruses in the middle line are half-frozen. Prior to version 1.3.5, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is increased from 35 to 39. Four of the Empty Blocks are changed to Brick Blocks.
	Stage 45	Dr. Mario Dr. Luma	A stage that involves obtaining Coins from Brick Blocks, with four columns of blocks and one row above. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is increased from 35 to 37. The second and fifth Brick Blocks in the second row are replaced by exploders.
	Stage 46	Dr. Baby Luigi Dr. Baby Peach	This stage has lots of viruses between Brick Blocks, including bubble viruses. There is also a shell and a Skill Charger.
	Stage 47	Dr. Toad Dr. Mario	A stage with lots of bubble viruses, along with an exploder in a bubble.
	Stage 48 (Hard)	Dr. Mario Dr. Wendy	A stage shaped like a percent sign, made of ice viruses and brick blocks. Each brick block contains a red virus. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is reduced from 45 to 40. The second and sixth Brick Blocks along the diagonal line of Brick Blocks no longer contain hidden viruses.
	Stage 49	Dr. Baby Mario Dr. Toad	A stage with lots of ice viruses, with short columns of Empty Blocks and a shell at the top.
	Stage 50	Dr. Baby Luigi Dr. Mario	In this stage, the player must obtain coins from a rectangle of brick blocks, with viruses surrounding it and two exploders inside. Prior to version 1.3.5, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is increased from 35 to 38. The middle virus at the bottom of the Brick Blocks is moved one space below. The middle virus at the topmost row is removed and are replaced by two viruses diagonally below it. The Brick Blocks in the middle column no longer contain any coins.
	Stage 51	Dr. Diddy Kong Dr. Baby Rosalina	This stage has bubble viruses between blocks, with lots of viruses in brick blocks at the top.
	Stage 52	Dr. Mario Dr. Baby Rosalina	A stage with rows of brick blocks at the top, and a column of bubble viruses on each side. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is increased from 29 to 32. Three viruses are added adjacent to the virus in the middle column.
	Stage 53 (Hard)	Dr. Peach Dr. Baby Rosalina	This stage has a column of exploders between bricks, with viruses between empty blocks on the sides. The capsule amount is increased from 25 to 27 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same.
	Stage 54	Dr. Daisy Dr. Mario	A stage with viruses in the shapes of a square and triangle.
	Stage 55	Dr. Koopa Troopa Dr. Baby Mario	This stage has brick blocks in the shape of four brackets, each with a skill charger.
	Stage 56	Dr. Toad Dr. Bowser Jr.	In this stage, both sides have a column of bubble viruses in a set of many empty blocks, with exploders next to them. Several viruses are present at the top.
	Stage 57	Dr. Baby Rosalina Dr. Peach	This stage has a shell of each color in the middle, and many exploders at the top.
	Stage 58	Dr. Diddy Kong Dr. Baby Rosalina	A diagonally-oriented stage with regular, ice, and bubble viruses between bricks.
	Stage 59	Dr. Baby Luigi Dr. Diddy Kong	This stage has viruses arranged in the shape of a star, with brick blocks around it.
	Stage 60 (Hard)	Dr. Dolphin Dr. Toad	The last stage of the first area. It has bubble viruses between brick blocks, with more of the stage coming downward after enough is cleared. The Brick Blocks in the first column and sixth column on the third row and the row that appears after the stage scrolls twice contain hidden viruses. The Brick Blocks in the third column and eighth column on the first row and the row that appears after the stage scrolls four times also contain hidden viruses. Shells are hidden in the middle column for the first row, fourth row and the row that appears after the stage scrolls twice. This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared, and will stop after 6 lines are introduced. Completing this stage awards the player with 500 coins. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: Capsule amount is reduced from 47 to 45. The first and third Brick Blocks in the bottom-most row are removed. The third and fifth Brick Blocks in the row that appears after the stage scrolls four times no longer contain hidden viruses.

	Stage 61	Dr. Baby Rosalina Dr. Baby Peach	This stage introduces Lock Blocks. When activated, they expose viruses in cages. The stage is made up of five columns of caged viruses, with empty blocks in-between.
	Stage 62	Dr. Goomba Tower Dr. Baby Rosalina	A stage with viruses surrounding a lock block in the middle, with caged viruses around them.
	Stage 63	Dr. Mario Dr. Toad	This stage introduces lock blocks encased in ice. There are two sets of viruses arranged in the shape of keys, separated by a two rows of caged viruses.
	Stage 64	Dr. Yoshi Dr. Baby Luigi	This stage has caged viruses arranged in the shape of a triangle, with a lock block surrounded by brick blocks in the corner.
	Stage 65	Dr. Toad Dr. Luigi	This stage introduces Virus Coins, which are hidden inside sets of viruses.
	Stage 66	Dr. Baby Mario Dr. Kamek	A stage with several bubble viruses below a set of brick blocks. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: The first and last viruses in the second row are removed. The first and last Brick Blocks in the fourth row are removed, revealing the viruses that were previously hidden. The viruses inside bubbles in the fifth row are no longer inside bubbles.
	Stage 67 (Hard)	Dr. Kamek Dr. Toad	This stage has four sections separated by empty blocks, each section having exploders encased in ice. Half-capsules must be placed between the exploders.
	Stage 68	Dr. Ludwig Dr. Toad	A stage with ice viruses arranged in the shape of a bug-eyed creature.
	Stage 69	Dr. Peach Dr. Daisy	A stage with many caged viruses arranged in squares. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: The green lock block in the ninth row is shifted to the middle of the row, and in its original place is a caged virus.
	Stage 70	Dr. Kamek Dr. Baby Daisy	This stage has several viruses surrounding a lock block surrounded by brick blocks, with hidden coins within the viruses.
	Stage 71	Dr. Baby Luigi Dr. Baby Mario	This stage has bubble viruses arranged in an arrow shape, with viruses and blocks around it and two rows of caged viruses at the top.
	Stage 72	Dr. Rosalina Dr. Toad	A stage made up of several brick blocks. A row of bubble viruses is present at the bottom, with exploders and shells on the sides above it. Above that is more viruses between the blocks, with an exploder in the middle.
	Stage 73	Dr. Yoshi Dr. Kamek	This stage has caged viruses arranged like three rings, with lock blocks inside each one.
	Stage 74	Dr. Toad Dr. Ludwig	A stage with many viruses inside a set of brick blocks, with a lock block in the middle. Caged viruses surround the blocks, with skill chargers on the sides.
	Stage 75	Dr. Bowser Dr. Baby Peach	A stage with many sections divided by brick blocks. Each section has a set of viruses with a hidden coin.
	Stage 76	Dr. Bowser Dr. Bowser Jr.	The lower half of the stage has five areas divided by empty blocks, each having a column of bubble viruses, blocked off by a row of brick blocks above. The upper half has sets of brick blocks with viruses surrounding the side ones.
	Stage 77	Dr. Diddy Kong Dr. Baby Mario	A stage with three lock blocks, each surrounded by viruses in cages of the same color. They can be activated using shells. The capsule amount is increased from 32 to 35 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same.
	Stage 78	Dr. Lakitu Dr. Toad	A stage a row of exploders surrounded by brick blocks, with viruses above and below.
	Stage 79	Dr. Toadette Dr. Bowser Jr.	A stage with many bubble viruses and brick blocks. Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made: The Empty Blocks in the fifth row are removed. The topmost viruses inside bubbles in the third and seventh columns are shifted to the second and eighth columns respectively.
	Stage 80 (Hard)	Dr. Donkey Kong Dr. Toad	The last stage of the second area, with more of the stage coming after enough is cleared. The first part has sets of bubble viruses between many brick blocks, with a column containing shells and viruses on the right side. The second part has rows of ice viruses, and then more viruses between brick blocks. Completing this stage earns the player a free Staff Ticket.

Challenge stages

	Stage 2A	Dr. Yoshi Dr. Daisy	Within a 90 second time limit, players need to eliminate all viruses. This stage has two sets of many columns of viruses, divided by caged brick blocks that must be unlocked. Starting from version 1.2.0, completing this stage awards the player 500 coins.
	Stage 2B	Dr. Wario Dr. Wendy	Within an 80 second time limit, players need to eliminate all viruses. This stage has many viruses surrounding small sets of brick blocks. The timer is increased from 60 to 80 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same. Starting from version 1.2.0, completing this stage awards the player 500 coins.
	Stage 2C	Dr. Baby Peach Dr. Wario	Within a 120 second time limit, players need to eliminate all viruses. This stage has long columns of viruses on the sides, with rows of pink viruses and rows of caged viruses and blocks throughout the middle. The timer is increased from 90 to 120 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same. Completing this stage awards the player 1000 coins and a Staff Ticket (3 Hearts prior to version 1.2.0).

Special Stage

	Special Stage	Dr. Donkey Kong Dr. Bowser Jr.	This stage has several bubble viruses, with two exploders and shells in the middle, along with caged shells and a caged exploder in the top left corner. When enough is cleared, the rest of the stage comes in, made entirely out of brick blocks with a lock block in the middle. Completing this stage awards the player 1000 coins, and as of Version 1.2.0, Dr. Yoshi is also awarded.
