The Mario Galaxy stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
Mario Galaxy

Mario Galaxy[1] (マリオギャラクシー, Mariogyarakushī) is a stage in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. The stage is confirmed to feature gravity similar to that of the Super Mario Galaxy games.

The stage takes place on the starting planet from Gateway Galaxy; the first level in Super Mario Galaxy, however being slightly altered in design, such as the addition of pine trees, the removal of one building, and being overall larger. In the background, various objects can be seen, such as an Airship, Starship Mario, along with Lubba, various Lumas, and a Starshroom. There are two platforms of differing heights on the stage. The center of gravity is the centre of the planet, therefore jumping or getting launched upwards from the edge will cause the character to move diagonally. Star Bits may occasionally fall onto the stage.

This stage can be played in 8-Player Smash mode, but only in its Normal form prior to version 1.0.2.
