Hammers are special items that can be used in-stage in Dr. Mario World. When a hammer is activated, the player can choose a tile to which the targeted object is eliminated. After the object is targeted, there is a delay before the hammer strikes. Free uses of the hammers can be awarded through battle boxes in versus mode or occasionally rewards through events. If there are no more hammers to use for free, the player will need eight Diamonds to use another.
