Bibinba is Bowser's wife. She appears in the 1994 catalog Super Nintendo World as a sample image for the game Mario Paint.[1] She looks very similar to her husband, with the main differences being her large pink bracelets and heels. She is named after the Japanese name of the Korean dish bibimbap, which was also one of Bowser's proposed names during the development of Super Mario Bros.[2]

While the character is likely not canon, her name is based on a discarded name for Bowser, so it may have been drawn by a Nintendo employee.. Bluesky (English). Retrieved February 7, 2026.
