Zappa is a Koopa appearing in Super Mario Bros. Monogatari, being Bowser's third son the novel. He has a mohawk and wears googles, and is the self-proclaimed head of intelligence of the Bowser Corps. He is said to be skilled at his job, but is in actuality rather weak.
Zappa is one of the three children of Bowser in the novel, the others being Ippa and Nippa.
