Mario Kart Slot Machine from Maygay.
The Mario Kart 64 slot machine

Mario Kart 64 is an uncommon slot/fruit machine game developed by the slot machine maker Maygay using its Epoch technology and licensed by Nintendo. It was released in Europe in 1996.[1] It is the second officially licensed slot machine from the Mario and Mario Kart series. The machine art is based on various key arts from Mario Kart 64, and the machine contains several sounds and pieces of music from the game. Some of the machines have settings for five-pence and 10-pence play.[2]

Gameplay

The player selects from the key racers—Mario, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi—and the objective of the game is to compete with the other two characters. The player must race around the track to get the Super Jackpot bonus in the track's center, using power-ups along the way and collecting cash from the reels, the three central prize trails, or the six character-based special features.[3]
