Template:Kart-infobox The Slick tires are a set of unlockable wheels in Mario Kart 7. They offer the strongest speed boost (tied with the Gold Tires), while also offering a small weight boost. However, their acceleration is hindered, along with their handling. In fact, their handling is tied with the Monster, Red Monster, and Gold Tires, for being the lowest handling among all the kart parts. They're also tied with the Gold Tires for having the lowest off-road boost in the game.
