Koritake are Mushrooms that appear in the animated film Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyūshutsu Dai Sakusen! They are a reference to the Panaeolus papilionaceus, a species of poisonous mushroom known as the「笑い茸」(waraitake, "laughing mushroom") in Japan due to its psychedelic properties. When consumed, the consumer becomes enraged and loses their temper.

During the film, Mario attempts to counter the effects of the Nakimashitatake by giving him what he thinks to be a Waraitake, only for Luigi to become enraged and punch him several times; Mario realizes that he gave him a Koritake instead.
