Cambuluc in the SNES release of Mario's Time Machine.

Cambuluc, also known as Khanbaliq, Dadu, and Cambaluc, was the capital of the Mongol empire under Kublai Khan's rule. This capital later becomes the city of Beijing. Marco Polo traveled there with his family, Niccolò and Maffeo Polo, and then stayed there as servants under the Khan. In 1292, Mario also visits the area after traveling back in time to return a Print Block that was stolen from Marco Polo by a time-traveling Bowser (according to the events of Mario's Time Machine). As he does not know that the Block belongs to Marco, Mario asks the area's inhabitants, which includes Kublai Khan, a trader, and a wise old sage. After enough talking, they point him in the direction of the Gobi Desert, where Marco and his family have gone to return to Italy, and Mario leaves the area to run after them.
