With a Lantern is the forty-third course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is set in the ghost house theme and in the Super Mario Bros. style. It is posted by Veteran Carpenter, and has a difficulty rating of 3/4 stars.

Layout

The level begins with an ON/OFF Switch and a P Switch on some tracks controlled by said ON/OFF Switch. Two Dry Bones then appear, followed by some parachuting Lava Bubbles and a new P Switch on a track next to a Big Spiny. The Checkpoint Flag then appears followed by some POW Blocks on tracks. Some Big Thwomps with POW Blocks then appear, along with one more P Switch and POW Block on separate tracks. A Parabones then appears next to the Goal Pole.

"What do you think of this pitch-black underground that I made? If you can make it to the end using just some dim light, I'll reward you well."
