Template:Levelbox World 1-3 is the third level of World 1 in New Super Mario Bros. 2. It is a grassy level littered with blocks introducing Super Leaves.

Layout

The player starts on a bridge in front of a tree on a hill. The player can go on top of trees by using Raccoon Mario. There are Snake Blocks circling around platforms throughout the level. Goombas and Koopa Troopas inhabit the level and the main power-up is the Super Leaf. There are two Coin Roulette Blocks in the level, one on the platform to the right of the first Star Coin, and the second near the end of the level on a platform with Snake Blocks around it. There are also several pipes which release Goombas.

Star Coins

Two of the three Star Coins in this level require Raccoon Mario.

  • Star Coin 1: On top of the third tree from the start of the level. A line of coins marks the path to the top of the tree.
  • Star Coin 2: At the first tree from the checkpoint, there is a pipe from which Goombas are released. The player has to go on top of that tree to meet with another pipe. Going down the pipe will shoot Mario into the sky. The player needs to fly to the Star Coin located in mid-air with several coins.
  • Star Coin 3: Just below the platform where Mario comes out from the area with the second Star Coin. The player needs to break the brick blocks blocking the path to the Star Coin by using Mario's tail, or use a Koopa's shell to break the brick blocks.

Enemies

Trivia
