There are 9 lettered keys that the player needs to tap to spell out the word. The letters in the English version are A, B, C, E, M, O, T, W, and X (in other languages, they differ). When the picture appears, the player will need to spell the three-lettered word. The letters need to be tapped in order (for example, if the word is cat, the player will need to tap C-A-T.) If the player manages to do this before time runs out, the game is won. If the player messes up or time runs out, the game is lost. If the player decides to tap a letter before a picture shows up, the phrase "''Hold on, speedy!''" will appear in the picture box and the game will also end in a loss.

Whuzzat? is one of Orbulon's microgames in WarioWare: D.I.Y.

Gameplay[edit]

The point of the game is to spell the picture that is shown. The player is given a picture of an object in a box. The object can either be a cow, a cat, a box, or a bat. There are nine lettered keys that the player needs to tap to spell out the word. The letters in the English version are A, B, C, E, M, O, T, W, and X (in other languages, they differ). When the picture appears, the player needs to spell the three-lettered word. The letters need to be tapped in order (for example, if the word is cat, the player needs to tap C-A-T). If the player manages to do this before time runs out, the game is won. If the player messes up or time runs out, the game is lost. If the player decides to tap a letter before a picture shows up, the phrase "Hold on, speedy!" appears in the picture box and the game also ends in a loss.
