Speed Golf is a game mode in the Mario Golf series. The game mode's rules throughout the series are to complete a course (or a three-, six-, or nine-hole section of it) as fast as possible, and the player is timed through each hole on how long the player has spent on each one. It can be played against a CPU or alone, and any course can be chosen.
