Master Necky is a large Necky who is the second boss of Donkey Kong Country. He is fought at the end of Monkey Mines, in the boss level Necky's Nuts. Master Necky is only ever seen by his head, both in-game and from his artwork.

During the battle, Master Necky emerges from the left and right sides of the arena to spit coconuts at Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. The Kongs can attack Master Necky by jumping on his head, but he only takes damage from it after spitting out a coconut. To defeat Master Necky, the Kongs must jump on him a total of five times.

In the Game Boy Advance version, Master Necky turns bright red before and after he attacks to better indicate when the Kongs can jump onto it. After Master Necky spits out a coconut, his normal color is shown, giving the Kongs a chance to jump on him, but Master Necky turns red again as he leaves the screen. Later on, Master Necky joins Master Necky Snr. in battling the Kongs in Necky's Revenge, the boss level of Chimp Caverns. Each of them can be defeated by being jumped on a total of five times. When either boss is defeated first, the other Master Necky starts to spit four coconuts in succession.
