Not to be confused with Bucky.

Template:Species-infobox Bakkies[1] are bat enemies in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. When they appear, Bakkies lie in wait, hanging upside down on the ceiling of the area. If Donkey Kong gets too close to a Bakky, they swoop at him, attempting to damage him. By using the sound wave attack, they will be stunned, floating in midair for a few seconds before the effect wears off and they fly back toward the ceiling. If Donkey Kong grabs it, he can kick it at the ceiling, causing it to explode and leaving three beats behind. If any Bakkies are in their path as they fly up, they will be defeated as well.

Bakkies first appear in Massive Canyon. They later appear in the Cactus Mine.

A variant called Ice Bakkies appear in most ice-themed levels. Another variant called Fire Bakkies even later appear in volcano-themed levels. A third variant exists, which are called Black Cliones, appear in three water stages in the game: Pristine Sea, Sweet Paradise, and Arctic Plunge.
