World 
Star-3 is a rather short level having the combination of beach and Ghost House themes. Seven Whomps and four Big Whomps are in this level. There are also seven groups of Peepas throughout the level. Several Fishbones can also be found in the water. This level also features a block with a Gold Flower in it.
Moon Coins
- Moon Coin 1: Before the checkpoint, there is a blue pipe. To the left of the pipe is a hole. The player should go in the hole and avoid the Peepas to get the Moon Coin.
- Moon Coin 2: After the checkpoint, the player should stand on the platform AFTER the second Whomp. Some blocks will appear, allowing Mario or Luigi to reach the second coin.
- Moon Coin 3: Before the end of the level, the player should have the last Big Whomp fall. Then, the player should use him as a platform to get on top of the high ledge. Follow the coins over to a ledge with three coins. Stand in the middle to hit an invisible vine block. The player can climb the vine to reach the Moon Coin.
