Howdy![edit]

First of all, welcome! (Though, maybe with the amount of contributions you made as an anon, it's more of a "thanks for signing up!", but that doesn't roll off the tongue as well.) As a heads-up, only Autoconfirmed users (people with 10 or more edits and have been around for 1 week) can vote in proposals, though new users are free to comment. If you got the notice about the vote being reverted, that's why. And, even with that said, considering the pace of the contributions you made before even being registered, you're already well on-track to being autoconfirmed if you keep up the pace, so don't worry. Italics[edit]

Hello, Wandering Poplin! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.

If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes.

Unused files[edit]

Please make sure to use your files soon after you upload them; you've uploaded a bunch of files that have yet to be included to a page. In the future, if any uploads aren't used within 24 hours of uploading them and we can't find a place for them, they'll be deleted. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Edits[edit]

Avoid splitting sentences in a paragraph with line breaks like this; it makes no visible difference from separating them with a space and only breaks up readability. If you're trying to start a new paragraph, add two line breaks.

Also, make sure that words and punctuation that aren't part of a game title are not italicised. "(Nintendo Switch)" or any commas or periods that come after are not part of the title, and should go outside the apostrophes. So these:

''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)''
''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)]]''
''Paper Mario,''

should be formatted like:

''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door'' (Nintendo Switch)
''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)|Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'' (Nintendo Switch)
''Paper Mario'',

Understood, I'll keep an eye out for these mistakes going forward. It's difficult to notice these kinds of things in a sea of letters and symbols at times... Wandering Poplin (talk) 19:54, December 24, 2025 (EST)

Daisy gallery split[edit]

I placed delete tags on both of the split gallery pages for Daisy since your split was carried out with zero discussion. We didn't split the galleries for other characters like Mario or Bowser because of prominence, but because they were growing to the point where they were too large to be all-encompassing. If you believe Daisy's gallery should be split off, I'd heavily encourage you to raise a proposal for it. Power Flotzo (talk) 21:10, December 27, 2025 (EST)

Well, we'd had the "Split suggestion template" sitting there for a few months and I had assumed it was simply a task nobody had gotten to yet. Upon further researching the matter now, it seems the proposition (If you could even call it that) had been shot down fairly early, and nobody had ever remembered to remove the tag. There goes an entire hour of my life, though... Wandering Poplin (talk) 21:23, December 27, 2025 (EST)

Question about the oppose on my GMT proposal[edit]

I just realized something. Hey, why wouldn't GMT work for you? And what's the thing that makes it that EST does work for you guys? Like, what is it that makes EST work better for you guys than GMT. As I (and @LadySophie17) said; EST is inherently American (or in other words: too American) and this is an international wiki. Besides, GMT is better recognized than EST because GMT is equal to UTC+0, which makes it easier to understand how late it is in GMT compared to your timezone (except if you live in GMT of course). So let me ask again: what is it that makes EST work better for you (and just the whole wiki in general) than GMT? Hey, umm, it's been three days since I posted this haven't you noticed? Not being a beggar or anything but I'm just still waiting for an answer.
