Big Freezie also referred to as huge Freezie or just Freezie is a boss in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. He appears in World 4 as the final boss. He is a giant Freezie who appears as their leader and guards the fourth Music Key inside his ice body. He resides on the top of a snow-capped mountain and is surrounded by normal Freezies. When Mario (or Luigi) and Toad arrive to retrieve the key, Toad politely asks the Big Freezie to return the Music Key. The Freezie does not respond and ignores him. As a result, Toad tells Mario to melt the giant icicle with his "burning hot dance moves." As Toad says this, the Big Freezie turns around to face them and uses the Music Key, starting the fight.
During the song, the large Freezie attempts to block the player's view of the dance steps by growing bigger, so the player must counter this by activating Fire Flowers on the beat. As the song progresses, the Big Freezie will gradually melt. Once the player completes the song, the Big Freezie melts away, and Mario recovers the final Music Key. Although the Big Freezie doesn't move on the overworld, he dances along with the music during the battle. The music played in this battle, "Deep Freeze," is a remix of "Fever" from Dr. Mario.
