LEVEL: World 6-B TIME LIMIT: 400 seconds COIN RUSH: 100 seconds

World 6-B is the second special level in this world. For this course you need 5 star coins to unlock this course. Once you complete the level, it will unlock World 6-Tower and skips World 6-3.

The Course

The player starts on a safe platform where you will find 3 Forward platforms which you need to get across. Throughout the first half, 3 Fire Chomps appear around different locations. Once you made it to the end of the room, a pipe will take you to the next room. Another option is finding a hidden vine that leads you to the second star coin and also leads to the next room. The second half consists of Bullet bills and Banzai Bills. Below has 2 gold rings which turns the Banzai Bills into gold and above contains a red ring and a Star coin. There are also some Flying ? Blocks in some areas. A strange thing then happens when the last Forward platform flashes to disappear because the player is at the end of the course. The flagpole then appears.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: When the player reaches the third moving platform, he/she must take the lower path to find the first star coin.
  • Star Coin 2: Before the green pipe that's halfway through the level, there's a hidden block with a Beanstalk that's surrounded by three ordinary Coins. The beanstalk leads to a secret area with the second star coin.
  • Star Coin 3: Not too far after the Red Coin Ring, the third star coin is seen floating above a Bullet Blaster.
