Spear Guys are relatives to Jungle Guys and Chuck Guys in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. Basically, they are the Yoshi's Island variant. Spear Guys are primitive Shy Guys that form tribes in the Piranha Grove. When confronted with danger, they will attack with spears. Just like Shy Guys, Spear Guys come in many colors.
Cannibal Guy
Cannibal Guys are a variant of the Spear Guy which dance (an idea that both Jungle Guys and Chuck Guys caught onto quickly as a call for reinforcements). Additionally, the Cannibal Guy's spear is far taller than the normal Spear Guy's. Not to be confused with Limbo Guys.
Spear Guys made a surprise apperance in a Mario Party 4, however they were holding torches.
Paper Mario
Spear Guys appeared in this game as well. They could stab Mario with their spears, or simply throw the spears at him. In the latter attack, the Spear Guy loses the spear, face paint, and tribal uniform and becomes a regular Shy Guy.
