Template:Coinpackbox The Platform Panic Attack is a Coin Rush downloadable content released for New Super Mario Bros. 2. The main goal of the pack is to collect a high enough count of coins while traversing precarious patterns.

It uses 2 blocks of memory when bought alone.

Course 1

Template:Levelbox A nighttime level with Peepa-controlled platforms acting as rollercoasters. Occasionally they split up to take Mario to secret places.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Mario must stay on the leftmost Peepa Platform at the start. It will take him to the Star Coin, where he must jump with correct timing to get it.
  • Star Coin 2: Shortly after the first Star Coin, the Peepa Platform passes below a platform with a + Clock below it. Hitting this block reveals a vine. Using the Peepa Platforms in this new area by wall jumping when they turn vertically, the Star Coin can be reached.
  • Star Coin 3: After the Gold Ring and Big Boo, Mario must stay on the middlemost Peepa Platform. It will eventually take him straight through the final Star Coin just before hitting the Goal Post.

Enemies

Course 2

Template:Levelbox A jungle and castle level with Snake Blocks and a long pit of toxic water. Goombas and Paragoombas are the main enemies here, though there are few of them.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: In plain sight near a Boomerang Bro. Mario must simply safely navigate down towards it.
  • Star Coin 2: In plain sight up above. Mario can reach it with a Racoon Leaf or by bouncing on the Paragoomba's head nearby.
  • Star Coin 3: In plain sight near a Boomerang Bro towards the end of the course. Again, Mario must simply safely navigate down to grab it.

Enemies

Course 3

Template:Levelbox A castle level with a Bonecoaster ride and loads of Bullet Bills. The Bonecoaster moves notably faster in this level.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Ground pound the Giant Dry Bones to the right of the entrance pipe to get into his alcove. The Star Coin appears above.
  • Star Coin 2: Found up above when Bullet Bills start flying down from the top right of the screen. Mario can bounce on a Bullet Bill to reach it.
  • Star Coin 3: On the final Bonecoaster, ground pound the head so it dips under the lava. This will reveal an alternative path to the Star Coin.
