A Goronto, from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

A Goronto (generically referred to by Nintendo Power as an ant[1][2]) is an Antotto enemy with a shovel and a miner hat found in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. It attacks by digging up rocks and rolling them at Mario. Goronto's attacks are very similar to the Diggin' Chucks from Super Mario World. They can be defeated with a standard jump or fireball.
