Favorite Game: Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door: This game is complete in every way. Complete as in "How do you remake something that needs no improvements" complete.

Least Favorite Game: Paper Mario: Sticker Star: Ironic isn't it, my favorite and least favorite games in the same series. The game was a huge let down for anyone who loved the original RPG gameplay.

Favorite character: Yoshi: Thanks to Yoshi Story, Yoshi became and remains my favourite video game character of all time.

Second favorite character: Toad: He was the first Mario character I ever played as so he earns this title out of nostalgia.

Least favorite character: Rosalina: Haters come at me, but in recent times, Rosalina's been getting shoved down our throats and it seriously annoys me. She was okay, but I've lost all signs of interest.

Hobbies: Drawing, writing stories and playing video games.

I'm Tails777, but you can call me Tails if you want. You can also call me Matt if you wanna use my actual name, I ain't picky about it. I'm a 22 year old guy and I've been playing Mario games since I was 3. The first Mario game I played was Mario Kart 64. I can even remember everything about it: the first character I played as was Toad and the first track I played on was Rainbow Road. When I'm not gaming, I like to write fictional stories or draw, all based around a personal series I created called The Fearsome 5. I base some of my stories off of good Mario games, specifically RPGs and Sonic games. Others are completely original. I also have a Deviantart account where I go by SuperMatt777. I joined this wiki on November 2nd 2010 and continue to be a semi active user today. I usually help with minor edits and stuff, but I do create pages every once and a while. I enjoy helping out with Upcoming game articles the most. I know a bit about the main rules around here so if you have a question, you can ask and I'll see if I can help. Super Mario World		One of the best SNES Mario games to date and likely the best 2D Mario platformer. Introduces my favorite character in the series, Yoshi. Awesome levels and a great looking world map.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	9/10

Super Mario All-Stars		Great for those who didn't have the games it contains. Pretty convenient to have 4 games in one.	See cons for the respective games.	7/10
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Wii VC)		Probably one of the best RPGs for the SNES. Really good appearance for a SNES game. A creative and fun RPG with many great characters and enemies.	Kinda bad at giving an idea on what to do, so its easy to get lost. Some bosses are incredibly hard and frustrating.	10/10
Gameboy Games
Super Mario Land (3DS VC)		Simple to play, much like Super Mario Bros. Introduced my third favorite character, Daisy.	Nothing much to look at really.	6/10
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (3DS VC)		Pretty fun to play through. Nice world map for a GB game.	Again, nothing much to look at really.	7/10
Dr. Mario (GB) (3DS VC)		Same as the NES version	Same as the NES version Added the fact that there is no real color.	6/10
Game & Watch Gallery (3DS VC)		It's simple to pick up and play.	But it's just a small compilation of classic mini games. Just personally not my style.	5/10
Nintendo 64 Games
Super Mario 64		By far one of my favorite Mario games, both in total and out of the 3D platformers. Amazing worlds, nostalgic soundtrack and challenging missions.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Mario Kart 64		Favorite Mario Kart game (also the first game I ever played) Amazing tracks, soundtrack and for me, has lots of replay value. Visually beautiful. Nostalgic beyond words.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Mario Party	File:MP1 Cover.png	Favorite Mario Party in the series. Memorable boards, music and mini games. Nostalgic beyond words.	Some mini games had an unfair way of dishing out coins. Some mini games forced losers to lose coins to give the winners.	10/10
Mario Party 2	File:MP2BOX.PNG	Again, a timeless and nostalgic classic for me. Boards, mini games and music are once again memorable. The characters dressing up for the boards is a nice touch.	Abandon Ship mini game is broken as heck.	10/10
Mario Party 3	File:MP3BOX.PNG	Again, another timeless and nostalgic classic for me. Again, boards, music and mini games are memorable. Story mode is fun to play through.	A few mini games are long and annoying. The Beat Goes On is a pointless mini game if everyone is good at memorizing the drums. I'm pretty sure the CPUs in Story Mode target you specifically.	10/10
Mario Golf (N64)	File:MG64.PNG	A great cast of characters. Nice courses to play through. Calming music.	Controls are hard to get used to. Game gives you no indication on how strong your shots or putts can be.	7/10
Mario Tennis (N64) (Wii VC)	File:MT64.PNG	Again, a nice cast of characters to play as. Controls aren't bad.	Courts look nice, but aren't really anything special. Can get really hard to just play after getting to higher cups.	7/10
Dr. Mario 64		Added story mode makes the game a bit more interesting.	But it's still just a puzzle game.	8/10
Paper Mario (Wii VC)	File:Papermario.PNG	Another amazing RPG and one of my favorite N64 titles. Creative cast of characters and enemies. Beautiful locations filled with secrets. Great combat system...	However the combat system did have a few flaws. Plot wasn't much special, but I'll let it slide cause they took a more creative route in stopping Bowser.	10/10
Yoshi Story		An adorable game that's pretty easy to pick up and play. Memorable soundtrack and levels.	Really on the easy side. Not much to do outside of the story mode.	8/10
Donkey Kong 64		A truly amazing 3D platformer. Amazing levels that are fun to explore. Five playable characters means more exploring which means more fun.	Was beating the original Donkey Kong and that Jetpac game really necessary? Switching Kongs was annoying as certain times, specifically when the Tag Barrel was far from where you needed to be.	10/10
Super Smash Bros. (Wii VC)	File:SuperSmashBros.JPG	Started one of the best sub series Nintendo has to offer. For only 12 characters, the cast was amazing. Solid gameplay.	Outside of Classic and basic Smash, not much to do.	9/10
Gameboy Advance Games
Super Mario Advance		Pretty much the same as the original, just better in terms of visual presentation. Added Yoshi Hunt at the end was fun.	Again, pretty much the same as the original.	9/10
Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World	File:Box NA - Super Mario World Super Mario Advance 2.png	Favorite GBA game. Updated visuals make the game look nice for a GBA game.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island		Counteracting what I said before, I'm sure it's a tie between Advance 2 and Advance 3 for favorite GBA game. Adorable game in almost every way.	Losing Baby Mario is an annoying process (no, I'm personally not bothered by his crying, it's chasing him that's the problem)	10/10
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3		Updated graphics make the game look nicer. Still a pretty nice game as the original was.	Same as the NES version	7/10
Mario Kart: Super Circuit	File:MKSC.jpg	Very impressive and creative tracks. Decent soundtrack.	Controls are still bad though, like the SNES game.	9/10
Mario Party Advance		Pretty much the only time where changing the gameplay was an accepted thing. Mission based gameplay made single player a great experience. Mini games were fun, even if they were all single player. Gadgets are fun to fool around with.	Not all the missions were great, some were annoying.	10/10
Mario Tennis: Power Tour (Wii U VC)		An honestly good tennis game for the GBA. Story mode was actually really fun to play through.	Ratio of Mario characters to human characters was kinda disappointing.	8/10
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (Wii U VC)	File:Superstars.PNG	A quirky and fun RPG to play through. A great cast of characters and creative enemies. Locations were pretty fun as well. Plot was creative and interesting. Great combat gameplay.	Getting lost was really easy, as the game didn't give you much help in finding your objective. Overworld controls were really hard to get the hang of. Switching between bros didn't help that concept either. Special moves were equally hard to get the hang of.	10/10
Mario vs. Donkey Kong (3DS VC)		I honestly didn't play this game much, so I can't give a solid section here...	Or here...	Or here really...
Yoshi Topsy-Turvy		Another adorable Yoshi game. Gyro controls weren't terrible. Missions were pretty fun to play...	But other missions were just a pain. The gyro controls were a bit messy at times. Can't decide if the final boss was hard or just lame.	8/10
Wario Land 4 (3DS VC)		Pretty good platformer really. Levels were pretty fun and creative. Treasure hunting is always fun too.	Not all levels were that great. Also TIME LIMITS on every level.	8/10
WarioWare Inc. Mega Microgame$ (3DS VC)		Microgames are hilarious to play.	One file means lack of story replay.	9/10
GameCube Games
Luigi's Mansion		An amazing game without a doubt. Exploring the mansion is fun, especially when searching for little secrets. Controls are well done.	After your really good at the game, you realize there isn't much to do in it outside of the fantastic game itself.	10/10
Super Mario Sunshine	File:Box NA - Super Mario Sunshine.png	Another outstanding 3D platformer. Worlds are creative, memorable and amazing and there's tons to do. F.L.U.D.D. is a really great tool for the game and makes it so much easier...	But the times you lose him is painful. The Pachinko Machine is broken as heck. In the past, most of the levels were agonizingly hard.	10/10
Mario Kart: Double Dash		Amazing roster of characters. Two for one deal on the character gameplay is an interesting concept. Special items make the game more interesting. Tracks are visually stellar and the music is fantastic. Battle mode is incredibly fun and to some extent, addicting.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Mario Party 4	File:Mpp4.JPG	Still continues the amazing Mario Party gameplay. Again, boards and mini games are memorable and fun. Story Mode is really fun to play through. The extra mode is also really fun to play.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Mario Party 5	File:MP5BOX.PNG	For the fifth time, memorable boards, mini games and music. Extra modes means more content. Super Duel Mode is especially enjoyable. New playable characters include my second favorite character, Toad. Boo and Koopa Kid are also awesome adds.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Mario Party 6		Boards, music, mini games, memorable as usual. Night and Day system makes for some interesting board changes and concepts. The mic wasn't a bad concept.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Mario Party 7	File:MP7BOX.PNG	8-Player games was interesting. The overall cruise theme made the game feel pretty calm, which was interesting. Memorable mini games.	Boards weren't nearly as memorable, nor was the music. Kinda hard to go back to as a result.	8/10
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour	File:ToadstoolTour.PNG	Controls heavily improved from the N64 title. Amazing cast of characters to play as. Music was amazing. Lots to do.	Like normal golf, the wind is highly annoying. Regardless of what the game told you, your shots weren't always that accurate.	10/10
Mario Power Tennis		Another great set of characters to play as. Power Shots were really cool and fun to pull off. Awesome courts that pulled off some amazing references. Lots of awesome stuff to do.	Higher difficulties made it more annoying to play.	10/10
Mario Superstar Baseball		Cast of characters was beyond amazing. Heavily enjoyable sports title. Special mini games were very enjoyable. Had an enjoyable story mode.	Some of the Star Missions for characters were really annoying (A squeeze bunt?)	10/10
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door		By far, my favorite game of all time. Characters were simply amazing and memorable. Locations were creative and fun to explore. Plot was amazing. Combat was polished from the first game which made it even better. Music was memorable and awesome. High amounts of replay value.	I CAN'T possibly say anything bad about this game. It's pretty much flawless in my eyes.	11/10
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix		Musical remixes were really awesome and some well picked choices. Both the dance pad and the GameCube controller could be used.	The idea of dancing affecting the environment came off as a weird idea.	7/10
Wario World		Favorite Wario series game. Treasure hunting in a platformer? Umm yes please! The difficulty pace was pretty much perfect. Awesome levels filled with secrets, but...	Some levels made backtracking hard to almost impossible, so if you miss anything, you need to go back to the start of the level.	10/10
Nintendo DS Games
New Super Mario Bros.	File:NewSuperMarioBrothers.jpg	Actually felt like a fresh game, at the time. Probably the best one in the series. Levels were challenging when they needed to be. Music was half decent.	Left what has to be one of the worst legacies in the Mario series. Almost nothing changes for 5 game straight.	10/10
Super Mario 64 DS		Adding in 3 more characters made the game 3 times more fun. Added missions and spicing up the old ones made the game feel new, but still retained the nostalgic feel.	Switching characters for certain missions wasn't always great.	10/10
Mario Kart DS	File:Mario Kart DS Box (North America).png	Tracks were pretty enjoyable, as was some of the themes.	With many of course elements being made of sprites, it kinda made the game look a bit weak.	9/10
Mario Party DS		If you don't mind playing single player all the time, this pretty much satisfies for a handheld Mario Party.	But if you don't like single player all the time, this really DOESN'T satisfy.	8/10
Mario Hoops 3-on-3		Really nice variety of characters. Special shots were fun to perform. Pretty cool courts and music.	Only one files means you can't replay anything... Not that you can even with one file, as it's undeletable. As such, once done, there isn't much to do outside of just playing basketball.	9/10
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time		A wonderful RPG that makes great use of the time travel idea. Characters were pretty awesome. Locations were memorable and music was amazing. Combat system was really good.	Controls are hard to get used to at first. Switching between the adult Mario Bros. and Baby Mario Bros. for certain moves can get irritating.	10/10
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story		A brilliantly crafted RPG choked full of creativity and character. As such, the characters were phenomenal. As were the locations. And the music. Bowser as a playable character made for a really unique battle style. Mario & Luigi gameplay was solid as usual. Brilliant plot.	I personally have nothing bad to say about this game.	10/10
Yoshi's Island DS		A nice looking sequel to Yoshi's Island. Did I mention the visuals looked amazing? Multiple babies made for some interesting ideas in level design.	But switching out as usual was kinda annoying.	9/10
Wii Games
Super Mario Galaxy	File:SmG.jpg	A stellar game that could be considered a... STAR game for the Wii. Levels were beautiful and amazing.	Game felt more linear and less open compared to Mario 64 or Sunshine.	10/10
Super Mario Galaxy 2		Pretty much the same as the prequel. I personally really enjoyed the Green Star challenge at the end.	Kinda annoyed how the game treated the story as the first time Mario ever visited space and how he didn't recognize the Lumas (despite the first game). Same issue as the first game; still felt too linear and not all that open.	10/10
New Super Mario Bros. Wii	File:Mariobox-noscale.jpg	Bringing the New Super Mario Bros. to a home console still feels okay to me, at least it felt right to do it from the beginning. Koopalings big return.	Essentially just feels like the series was ported to the home console.	10/10
Mario Kart Wii		Insane levels of fun. Awesome roster of characters. Awesome tracks, awesome music.	I personally don't have anything bad to say about this game.	10/10
Mario Party 8		Really family fun. Nice character roster and fun boards. Pretty good line up of mini games.	Motion controls kinda felt lazy at times.	9/10
Mario Party 9		Most mini games were okay. Some boss mini games were okay too.	Change of gameplay was not really accepted to me. Such heavy luck based scenarios meant you could be doing great and then one Bowser Space later, you're in last and you stay there. Almost solely based on New Super Mario Bros, meaning it really lacked creativity.	6/10
Mario Super Sluggers		Outstanding roster of characters. Fun to play through story mode. Mini games were okay, but not as good as the previous game.	Controls made the game feel really lazy. As a result, the game almost felt overly simple.	9/10
Mario Strikers Charged		Pretty enjoyable through and through. Pretty hardcore for a Mario title, am I right?	Difficult as heck. Like there are some no mercy points in that story mode. There are some pretty cheap stadium hazards.	9/10
Mario Sports Mix		Four sports means lots of fun. Cool line up of characters. And unlocking them was pretty fun too. Cool courts with some pretty good references. Tournaments were pretty fun.	Not all the unlockables were fun to get.	10/10
Super Paper Mario		The plot line was probably the best in the series. Like wow, this game got dark and it was awesome. Four playable characters. Brilliant locations and characters. Despite the change in gameplay, the RPG elements were still there which made the game feel like a real Paper Mario game. Charming sense of humor. Switching characters is much more manageable in this game compared to other games.	That stupid poll for this game pretty much butchered the series onward.	10/10
WarioWare Smooth Moves		Micro games are hilarious. Control methods are pretty unique...	If not completely pointless.	10/10
Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast		Half decent game really. Good spread of characters.	Controls were awkward at times.	7/10
Fortune Street		Despite being a simplistic Monopoly styled game, it's really addicting and really fun. Great spread of characters. Dialogue is really fun to read.	Honestly, this game is like 85 percent luck so if anything goes bad, that's what you blame it on.	10/10
Super Smash Bros. Brawl		Seriously amazing game offers days of fun. Great line up of characters. Great line up of stages. Awesome collection of music. Best when played with at least 3 or 4 players.	Kinda hard to go back to after playing Smash Wii U, but still playable none the less.	10/10

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games		Added Dream Events made this game a huge step up. Awesome remixed music. Story mode was fun.	I personally don't have anything bad to say about this game.	9/10
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games		Even more awesome Dream Events. And even more awesome music remixes.	London Tour felt kinda meh.	9/10
Nintendo 3DS Games
Super Mario 3D Land		Pretty nice 3D platformer. Introduced some nice power-ups.	Really, it felt too much like a standard 2D platformer with an extra dimension, which kinda feels dull at this point. Game wasn't all that hard either.	9/10
New Super Mario Bros. 2	File:NSMB2boxcover.jpg	It's... a solid 2D platformer? Castle levels are pretty enjoyable.	Seriously, the same stuff for the third time? The huge focus on coins meant getting free lives was way too easy. Even so, game hands out free lives in other ways too. Very little challenge.	6/10
Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS	File:SuperMarioMaker3DSBoxArt.png	It's great for creating levels on the go. Unlocking things was more manageable and more enjoyable. Editing interface was just as good here.	I still need to have an idea in order to play it. Lack of online posting is a bummer. No Mystery Mushroom. They don't call out the things as you place them (yeah, I'm actually bummed about that).	It's still a 10/10 though.
Mario Kart 7		Gliding and underwater racing were a really nice add. As such, they were implemented into the tracks very well. Great selection of retro tracks. Kart customizing was a great idea.	Some nitro tracks weren't that appealing. Honey Queen replaced Waluigi... really?	10/10
Mario Party: Island Tour		At least we're not riding all together in a car...	Gameplay still isn't back to normal.	5/10
Mario Party: Star Rush		Game was a step in the right direction in terms of gameplay. Held my attention longer than Island Tour and Mario Party 10 combined. Game modes were rather entertaining.	There isn't a lot of mini-game variety. Despite the step up, it's still not overly spectacular. Just... good.	6/10
Mario Party: The Top 100	File:MLT100 Box NA.png	The game's concept alone; 100 mini-games from the past home games. I loved Mario Parties 1-8 so seeing some favorite mini-games return all mixed in with each other was like a dream come true. The return of Mini-Game Island. Easy to just sit around and play. Easily the BEST nostalgic run of 2017 and I love the game for it.	For a game so amazing, the flaws are pretty big. Like for starters, the lack of a solid board-game play. Star Rush's Balloon Bash does NOT cut it. On that topic, you can only choose a mini-game pack of five mini-games for said "board game" mode. It's a glorified mini-game mode from past Mario Party games. While I loved the compilation idea, they could've done so much more... Like, so much more if the game was on the Switch.	8/10 (cause I'd be betraying my childhood if I didn't give it a nostalgic pass)
Mario Golf: World Tour		Still a solid golf game. Creative Mario series courses were really nice. Story mode wasn't that bad.	Unlocking certain costumes is a pain. Character roster is okay, but coulda been better. Both Rosalina and Nabbit are in the game.	9/10
Mario Tennis Open		A solid tennis game really. Solid mini games.	Certain costume unlocking requirements are annoying. Again, character roster was okay, but coulda been better. Courts were okay, but the lack of gimmicks in them kinda felt stale.	9/10
Mario Sports Superstars		The five sports aren't terrible. Baseball, Tennis and Golf aren't bad. Lots to collect and I'm a man of collections. Still lots to do and I can get behind that.	Mario really doesn't belong in such realistic settings for sports. I'm sure Mario is Missing already proved that adventure games shouldn't be in the real world for a reason. To be expected from a 3DS game, but Baseball and Soccer are obviously not as great as the Mario Baseball/Strikers series.	7/10
Paper Mario: Sticker Star		Had a few charms hidden within the game. At least Goombella got a mention, that's something, right?	A sorry excuse for a Paper Mario game. Inventory based combat system made combat a pain. Combat system was overly flawed. Combat was utterly pointless. Either stickers were overpowered or enemies were way too weak. Bosses were either tough as nails or complete pushovers throughout the entire game. Bowser's final form could be finished in ONE turn. Stale looking environments, absolutely no creative characters and generic looking enemies. Kersti is the WORST partner ever. Did I mention this is a sorry excuse for a Paper Mario game?	2/10
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team		MUCH better than Sticker Star. Creative characters both old and new, creative locations and creative enemies. Plot was awesome, even if it had a lazy ending. Soundtrack is probably the best ever. Combat is as solid as ever. Game retains its witty sense of humor and charm. Giant battles are just as good in this game, both gameplay and visuals.	Tutorials	10/10
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam		Game handles tutorials much better. Solid combat. Koopalings actually have dialogue this time. Interactions between characters was hilarious. Game still has that witty sense of humor and charm. Concept of real world meeting Paper world was a brilliant idea...	But it was executed so poorly. In short; biggest missed opportunity. Generic enemies, locations and characters. Stale plot. Incredibly tedious filler in the form of Toad chases and Nabbit hunting. Speaking of that... Nabbit is in the game and his role is pointless and annoying.	6/10
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions		A remake of an already great game. That alone is a pro. Perfectly fixed the original's greatest flaw; the overworld controls. Updated the battle controls as well. Also a great plus. In terms of visuals, it looked really nice. The lighting made the sprites a lot better. The Bowser's Minions story was simple in terms of gameplay, but challenging in terms of strategy. It's story wasn't bad either.	They added very little. And by very little, I mean they tweaked the tutorials and gave us amiibo stamps... woulda rather seen a Battle Ring. Bowser's Minions mode felt a bit... bare in terms of player interactions. I mean it's not the end of the world, but I feel so useless when my team isn't good enough in the heat of the moment.	10/10
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon	File:Luigis Mansion dark moon boxart.png	An amazing sequel that does a good job of staying true to the original. Multiple mansions make the game even more exciting. Multiple mansions also means more to explore, which is also really fun.	Mission based gameplay means exploring is kinda limited, but it's not a huge problem. Mario was kinda pasted in here with no backstory or reason really.	10/10
Yoshi's New Island		Art style was cute and interesting. Still plays like a traditional Yoshi game, which is fine.	Game was overly easy.	7/10
Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World		Please see the original game for all it's pros regarding the base game itself. Port details; you can make your own Yoshi designs. You do not know how much fun I have with that. They added more amiibo costumes. The game actually looks great on the 3DS. Cuter even.	Same as the original. One, easy to ignore flaw.	10/10
Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move		Eh, it was okay. It kept my attention longer than most puzzle games.	But it's still just a puzzle game to me.	7/10
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS		Game does an amazing job of being a Smash game you can take anywhere. Amazing roster of characters, stages and music. Smash Run is really fun to play.	Lack of unlockable characters and stages compared to the other games. Let's face it, it's a handheld game. It's gonna gear more to single player. Not so much a problem for me, but it's still a flaw.	10/10
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games		Story mode is really creative and was really fun.	Unfortunately, that's about it. The events felt more like small mini games. Events were also limited to only 4 playable characters per event. Just not as good as the console version.	7/10
Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games		Adding more characters was a great idea. Many events didn't feel like mini games anymore. Story mode was fun to play through.	Once again, events were limited to a few playable characters. Plus events aren't as good as Dream Events. Game wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best either.	7/10
Wii U Games
New Super Mario Bros. U		Umm... world map was interesting?	Okay, seriously. This is the fourth game and we've seen no changes.	8/10
New Super Luigi U	File:Box NA (final) - New Super Luigi U.png	Okay, I'll give this one credit, it's more fun than NSMBU. Strict time limit makes the game more challenging (about time) Luigi's gameplay differences add a bit more thought to how you play.	It's still the same stuff we've seen 5 times. While the challenge through the strict time limit was okay, it still pushed you to rush through levels.	9/10
Super Mario 3D World		Pretty much the same as 3D Land. Level visuals were absolutely stunning. Seriously, they looked beautiful.	Still just a 2D platformer with an extra dimension. Rosalina is in the game, just plastered in without a real reason to.	9/10
Super Mario Maker		It's a do it yourself Mario game where you can make your own Mario levels. Pretty nice amount of things to mess around with. Amiibo functionality is useful and at the same time you can still get what they give if you don't have any amiibo. Super Mario World is a game style. Game is relatively easy to get the hang of.	You have to put up with the levels other people make... And Expert and Super Expert mode are full of the worst examples of this. Generally, I need to have an idea in order to actually play this game.	10/10
Mario Kart 8	File:Box NA - Mario Kart 8.jpg	Visually amazing. Roster of characters is really good for the most part. Fantastic selection of retro tracks. Nitro courses are pretty good. Anti gravity is a really cool idea and was implemented pretty well. Hand gliding and underwater racing is used even better.	Baby Rosalina and Pink Gold Peach were invented for this. Battle mode is a little lack luster. Cat Peach.	10/10
Mario Party 10	File:WiiU MarioParty10 pkg.jpg	There's a mode that kinda relates to the original gameplay...	But it's tedious. Gameplay is still heavily luck based and we're once again traveling together in a car. Bowser Party is really one sided. Actually worse than Mario Party 9.	3/10
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash	File:MarioTennisUltraSmashBoxart.png	Gameplay is solid. Visually appealing.	Has little to no content, pretty much lacking everything that makes it a Mario Tennis game. Only one stadium with different skins. Character roster was meh. The Ultra Smash was just a glorified flat shot.	2/10
Paper Mario: Color Splash		Stellar visuals Really good writing. Like I actually laughed a few times. Level design was like 90% amazing. Huey was actually a likeable partner.	Uses Sticker Star's gameplay and brings every problem it had with it. Major annoyances in the form of the Shy Bandit and those REALLY annoying Kamek encounters. Trial and error sections that would end in a game over if you made the slightest mistake. Major boss battles still required Things to beat and ensured that if you didn't have the right Thing, you'd lose. Story is still pretty bare bones and they draw it out through telling you details you already know. NPCs are still just Toads. Any other NPC you can talk to is just a generic enemies. Enemies are just generic species seen in other games. In short, this game lacks unique characters and enemies. In the end, no problems from Sticker Star were fixed, just painted over to make it look like they were fixed.	4/10
Dr. Luigi (Wii U VC)		Interesting new concept of L pills make for some interesting gameplay.	Puzzle game = not my style.	8/10
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker		Not bad for a platforming puzzle game. Took simplistic levels from 3D World and made them more interesting.	Really shouldn't be a retail game worth 40-60 bucks or whatever it was. Would've better worked as a 20 dollar eShop game. Mainly because it was just a mini game from an actual game made into a bigger game.	7/10
Yoshi's Woolly World		Probably the most adorable looking Yoshi game to date. Feels like a traditional Yoshi game mixed with crafty yarn elements, which works really well. Pretty decent amiibo functionality.	Final boss is pretty underwhelming.	10/10
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze		Really good level design. Worlds were pretty cool. Dixie Kong was probably a little too good (which worked out well for me) Game was very challenging, but still playable.	Game handed out free lives, but it's less of a problem cause you were likely gonna use them all up anyway. World 4's boss.	10/10
Nintendo Land		Whatever single player games present were pretty good.	But most of the game relied on multiplayer, which sucked for me cause no one in my family bothered to play the game.	7/10
NES Remix (Wii U Download)		The game as a whole was a really clever idea.	I wasn't a huge fan of the NES era.	10/10
NES Remix 2 (Wii U Download)		Still a clever idea. Liked the selection of games more in this one than the first one.	Still not a huge fan of the NES era.	10/10
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U		Visually amazing. Like the 3DS version, awesome character roster, music and stage selection. Despite the 3DS's pros, this one still stomps it.	Smash Tour wasn't all that great, it was playable, but not great. Still a lack of unlockables, just made slightly worse than the 3DS version. Beating Classic mode on 9 difficulty without losing a life.	10/10
Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games		The Dream Events and music remixes were once again great. The single player mode was pretty decent.	All the achievements involving two or more players sucked, mainly cause I'm the only one who plays the game... As such, you try finishing different events while playing as up to four players at once. Typing that long title gets annoying after a while, especially here on Mario Wiki.	10/10
Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games		New characters Decent events Lots to unlock Once again, a decent Mario & Sonic game.	All the newcomers are limited to one event each. Random unlocking for music, outfits and such... And you can get doubles. Duel events aren't as good as Dream Events.	9/10
Nintendo Switch Games
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe		Simple: The revamped battle mode was amazing. Bowser Jr., King Boo and Dry Bones, good character adds. Pretty decent Battle stages, both selection and visually. Two items can be held again.	Item spam is probably even worse in this game than it was in the original. Feels like anyone who had the original and the DLC got ripped off. Also, most of my pros are things that should've been in the original to begin with.
Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle		A crazy mash up I never expected, but was completely amazing. Combat is fun and really makes me feel good when I pull off good moves during my turn. The interactions involving the Rabbids are hilarious. Rabbid Kong Also Phantom of the Bwahpera's Mario Roasting Opera. What on earth did I just buy and why do I enjoy it so much?	Because your strength comes from your weapon and not EXP after battles, it means that if you get stuck on a hard level, it's not because you're weak, it means you probably suck at strategy (I'm guilty for that). Limiting your team to a team of three for the entire game is a bit unfair. You get 8 characters total and you couldn't even put a team of 4 in?	9/10
Super Mario Odyssey		Do I even need to repeat what people have already said? This game is flat out awesome. Big worlds to explore with a lot of nooks and crannies to discover. More moons than you can shake a galaxy at. You can barge into Bowser's wedding in a top hat and your boxer shorts. Enough said.	Flaws? Yeah, I can name a few. The game's story is like 20 moons long. Too short (do I see pitchforks and torches?) I still like Super Mario 64 and Sunshine's sense of progression better. On that note... There's no proper hub world. I would've liked that a whole lot better.	The game is still a 10/10.
