Hot Hidden-Coin Hunt is a Coin Collection Challenge found in New Super Mario Bros. U. The setting of the course is based on a section of the Layer-Cake Desert level, Stone-Eye Zone.

Objective[edit]

The player starts the challenge by hitting the P Switch. The player then gets 10 seconds to collect as many coins as possible. In those 10 seconds, the player must have collected 46 or more coins out of 52 to get a medal. The player needs to Wall Jump to get all the coins. If the P Switch effect runs out and if the player does not have at least 46 coins, the challenge ends in a failure.
