Cage-in Cookin'
|
Cage-in Cookin' is a Bowser minigame in Mario Party 5 and a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party: The Top 100. Its name is a pun on "Cajun cooking." ContentsIntroduction[edit]The game starts with Bowser stepping off his throne. The camera pans to reveal the four players trapped in cages. Gameplay[edit]This is one of the three Bowser minigames in Mario Party 5, and it appears as one of the random Bowser events activated when the player lands on a Bowser Space. The object of this minigame is to escape from the cage to avoid being burned by Bowser. In order to get out of the cage, the player must press the buttons that appear on the cage's lock as fast as possible. Pressing the wrong button prevents action for a brief time. After the player presses a total of eight randomly chosen buttons, the player's character's cage opens, and the character runs outside the cave to safety. Like all other Bowser minigames in Mario Party 5, this minigame takes place on a large mountainous Bowser statue, particularly inside the mouth. In Mario Party: The Top 100, the first player to escape wins. Players now have a fixed 10 seconds to escape; those who do not escape within the time limit automatically get last place. Ending[edit]In Mario Party 5, if at least one player escapes, the camera pans to the escaped players, who are relieved. If all four players escape, the "Draw" music plays while Bowser gets disappointed as the players do their relief animations. Controls[edit]Mario Party 5[edit]
