Frozen Frenzy is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 5.
Overview[edit]
The players must try to collect the crystals that have fallen into the cavern. There are five crystals total: Four are in each corner, and the other one is near the center of the screen. Each crystal has a small star inside it, and it also has its own unique color: One is blue, one is yellow, one is red, one is green, and the last one is sky blue. The players can jump on, ground-pound, punch, and kick each other to steal crystals from them. Another way to lose crystals is to touch an icicle. Icicles randomly fall from above and stay on the ground. Upon making contact with them, the player drops all of their crystals. After 45 seconds, the player who managed to obtain and keep the most crystals is the winner. If two or more players have the same number of crystals, all those players win. If no one has collected any crystals or everyone has only one, the minigame ends in a draw.

Notes[edit]
- If at any point a player has all five crystals, they will gain a sparkling effect around their character until they lose one of them. This is purely visual and does not affect how the character moves.
- This is one of the few 4-Player minigames that need more than one control-explanation square due to the varied number of moves the player can perform in it.
- This is the only points-based mini-game in the Mario Party series in which it is impossible for all four players to have a unique number of points.
