Goomama is the wife of Goompapa and mother of Goombario and Goombaria. She wears a headwrap, indicating that she is a housewife. She appears in Paper Mario.

In Toad Town, after Mario defeats General Guy in Shy Guy's Toy Box, Goomama and Goombaria can be seen shopping. If Mario converses with them whilst Goombario is the active Partner, Goomama will nag the young Goomba and Goombaria will tease him.

Goomama appears with her family in Toad Town once again, because of the party which Princess Peach organized after her rescue.
