Spin Attack is a special close play ability in the game Mario Super Sluggers. As a close play ability, it is activated only when the player presses the right button first when a close play occurs. When the player does so, the runner (usually a character with a shell) spins around and smacks the base person, sometimes making the ball even roll out of the base person's reach so the runners can advance a base.
