Capcom (clipped compound of "Capsule Computers") is a Japanese company that manufactures and distributes electronic game machines. Well-known for creating multimillion-selling franchises such as Mega Man, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney, the company has manufactured many Japan-only Super Mario arcade games. The company's official mascot, Mega Man, managed to appear in the German magazine Club Nintendo comics alongside Mario, and is playable (along with Ryu from Street Fighter) in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Street Fighter character Ken Masters is also playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
