VS. Mo-Hog is the boss level of the Strawberry Kingdom in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and the Lemon Kingdom in New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, as well as the fifth boss level in the original Nintendo GameCube version and the seventh main boss level in the enhanced New Play Control! port for the Wii. It takes place outside of what appears to the Spirit Tree. This level's objective is to defeat Mo-Hog.
Level layout[edit]
In this level, Mo-Hog has 500 health points. It attacks by throwing electrified watermelons and chestnuts at Donkey Kong, the latter that he should avoid. He must use his Sound Wave Attack on the watermelon to rid it of electricity. This allows Donkey Kong to stun Mo-Hog and punch him repeatedly.
After losing at least one fifth of its health, Mo-Hog will begin the second (and final) phase. Here, it will charge electricity, fly at Donkey Kong, and then strike him. If Donkey Kong deals damage to defeat Mo-Hog, he will earn one to four crests in the original Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and one to three in the enhanced New Play Control! port for the Wii.
